Man Charged With Stealing Urns

PINELLAS COUNTY — A Palm Harbor man was arrested and charged with stealing more than 100 urns from a Florida cemetery and selling them.

Pinellas County detectives said a total of 110 urns were recovered from a recycling company, where William Moncalieri, 29, sold the urns for more than $1,000.

Deputies said Moncalieri, a former employee of the cemetery, sold the urns for $1.40 a pound.

This is a man who clearly knows his place in the afterlife, shuttled between Fourth and Eigth Circles.
