If you’re hitting the log for the first time in a few weeks, yeah, I changed things a bit. It isn’t that I didn’t love the Options theme, but I need change. I’m still tinkering with the theme, so it’ll look wonky for a few weeks to come yet. I need to reload my I reloaded my Ubernyms (I miss them already) and there are some css issues I need to tackle. Thanks for your patience.
Last week I went to a Plymouth Whalers (OHL) game in order to meet former WDFN host Sean Baligian. He’s (now) the color commentator for the Whalers and he managed to track me down after the second period. Sean’s as nice and down to earth as his radio show implied. It was Creative Parking Night at CompuWare arena in Plymouth so we didn’t stay the entire game for fear we would either be towed, hit, or a plow would come through and we’d not find the car until April.
Plymouth Whalers lost that game 7-4 to the Mississauga Majors.
Super Bowl Sunday was spent at my sister’s house. Got there real early which gave my sister and her husband time to clean while we watched the baby.
Great packing snow that day. Justin and his mother made a rather cool snowman.
Babies have cute feet
The most exciting news of the week is RJ and I have completed the first draft (more or less) of Isle of Shadows. There are things that have to be done over the next few months before I can even consider inflicting it on an editor/publisher, but I know we’ve got a great book.
Today I’m relaxing and enjoying a rare day off. More in the way of content and something worth reading later.
Plus, there’s a cat butt on my keyboard. I must be done for now.
