#40DaysOfBento Day #16

I had a lot of things I wanted to write about today and then they all got shoved to the back burner when an idea I’ve been kicking down the street for a while sort of gelled in my head. Images, words, scenes, actual people (not the imaginary ones I spend way too much time talking to) lined up into a project that not only made sense, but is completely doable! I pitched it and it was not met with condemnation or calls fer my execution!
It’s a refreshing change.
I hate to vagueblog about it, but it’s really rather exciting. You know you’ve clicked with your tribe of people when you throw out a crazy idea and everyone hops on board with great ideas and cool angles. I know it will be as awesome on paper as it is in my head, and I can’t wait to announce it formally.
Meanwhile, the deluge of other ideas continues to pour through, and even as I write this post, I’ve got Evernote open in another tab and entire ideas are birthing a few more wordful babies.
I hate that when I type notes for ideas, everything is in lowercase. While that shouldn’t bother me because they’re just notes (for ideas), my inner editor wants to correct every blessed typo. Handwriting is far superior to computer note taking, but my penmanship has suffered in the last few years.
Lately, I also feel like I’m babbling. I’m pushing out words faster than I can say and write them but rather than feel like a loss of control, it feels like spring cleaning in my head. Old words getting pushed out to make way for (… you know what, it’s nearly lunch and I’m going to stop right there).
Spring brings new, and lots of new is waiting to sun its pale skin in the light.
Edamame, rice, beef and mushrooms, cucumbers, spinach and cheddar tamagoyaki, strawberry.
What am I doing?
For those just joining, this is my challenge for the next 40 days (Ash Wednesday until Easter). I document these (M-F) days leading up by making healthy lunches every day. You’ll know what day we’re on by how many Plastic Babies are present.
