OUTSIDE INTERESTS

Behind the eight.

I was tagged by the ever entertaining David, so I’ll comply.

First, the rules.
1. We have to post these rules before we give you the facts.
2. Players start with eight random facts/habits about themselves.
3. People who are tagged must make a post about their eight things and post these rules.
4. At the end of your blog post, you need to choose eight people to get tagged and list their names.
5. Don’t forget to leave them each a comment telling them they’re tagged, and to read your blog.

1. FACT: If given the option, I’d rather not get dressed or get out of bed. Glorious Sundays have been spent wearing nothing but bedclothes and reading a good book or sleeping.

2. FACT: I am lousy about returning e-mails.

3. FACT: I’d rather read a novel or collection on my Sony Reader than a paperback or hardcover, and I’d rather listen to a book than read it. I have triple copies of several books because of this.

4. FACT: I cannot wear hematite.

5. FACT: My crushes run deep and can last for years.  Fair warning.

6. FACT: I’m quite shy in public.

7. FACT: I like music I can dance to but I’ve been known to groove for hours on classic rock.

8. FACT: I’m a bit of a photo exhibitionist.

Memes come here to die.

Just this fox. I'm a writer of horror and dark fantasy. I totally don't brag about it. The latter statement is an utter lie.

While fact number 8 should probably be the one that elicits the strongest reaction, I have to say number 4 intrigues me. So is hematite like your kryptonite?

(All right, so maybe 8 is still winning out.)

Hiya Bill – it totally is.

My husband wears a ring on his pinky and it always makes me feel like I’m being used up. Some said it was because Hematite is a grounding stone, but I dunno. I’m not a terribly grounded person but it still makes me feel chewed.

As a counter, I’ve been wearing unakite, which helps. A little.

As far as 8 – I’ve been known to have a little fun with the camera. *grin* Most notable with the Boobiethon and Warren Ellis’ calls for faces, though Rob Callahan asked for one too – .

Well, your self-portraits have definitely shown a skill for… well, for directing the camera for the greatest impact, let’s say. 😉

But hey, the plastic babies! I’d forgotten about those!

    I need longer arms.

And the plastic babies were more than happy to have the little black ducks as playmate – until the inevitable happened, of course. They’re in a POW glade somewhere.
