OUTSIDE INTERESTS

I don’t have a title for this section, yet …

As anyone who’s been following my Get Glue profile knows, I spend the weekends devouring a lot of movies. I don’t watch them for artistic merit or originality or hardcore scares. I just want to watch a movie and be relatively entertained.

I almost never review the scads of movies after I watch them because I’m lazy and I consider myself a rather average person with questionable tastes and no one really cares what I think.

Except people kinda do, which is scary and a little intimidating, so to appease people who follow and balance it with my own inherent laziness, I’ll lightly review based of a few factors:

1 – Wow – was I impressed by something within the movie – a scene, a kill, a twist of intuitive thinking?

2 – Wander – Did I find myself getting up to grab snacks, hit the potty, pet the cat, check email.  How often and did I pause?

3 – Rewind – The “holy crap I need to see that again!” moment in movies.

4 – Recommend –  How was it recommended to me and would I return the favor ?

5 – I don’t have a five.

This afternoon’s movie is Stevie (movie info lifted from Netflix and IMBD so if you have an account, it should take you right there).

Just this fox. I'm a writer of horror and dark fantasy. I totally don't brag about it. The latter statement is an utter lie.
